An individualized, evidence-based approach to complex wound management that integrates comprehensive assessment, wound-bed preparation, appropriate treatment selection, ongoing reassessment, and attention to the underlying factors that influence healing.
Treatment is evidence-based while aligning with CMS guidelines. The approach advocates for and initiates the best treatment plans available at the time of assessment, with re-evaluation at regular intervals to address wound-bed needs and changes while optimizing healing.
